What a Good Mama!

Harper has become slightly consumed with her baby lately. She puts her to bed at every nap time, making sure she has her pacifier. She has her sit next to her while she eats, and on occasion she makes a fake cry or says, "Mama, Mama" in her "baby voice" and then pretends to give her some milk from her cup. Now this doesn't mean that baby is free from her wrath. Baby gets thrown down the stairs, shoved under the TV console, dressed and undressed multiple times, and like in these pictures put into random things around the house.
This was right before the mischief began.

After dragging the trash can out of our room, Harper decides this would be the perfect place for her baby to go "night, night"
Poor baby. (PS- This trash can has felt the wrath of Hobbs.)

I just thought this picture was so cute! While her baby "slept" she went and got my shoes and tried to put them on; what pretty little sausage feet.

So Handsome!

Since most of these post (if not all) are about Harper, I figured I should sneak a little picture of my handsome husband on here. This was one of the great mornings during his Family Medicine rotation when he didn't have to be at work until 9 and we all got to eat breakfast together! This morning, I thought he looked SO Handsome in his sweater that I had to get a picture of him. As usual Jeff hates this picture, and says he looks like...well something I won't write since this is a family friendly blog, but we all know he is gorgeous!

Our Newest Obsession: Bibs

Harper's latest obsession is bibs; multiple bibs. At any point of the day she may have one bib on, she may have four bibs on, you just don't know with this one.
Even the baby gets a bib.

The Countdown...Well Not Really!

Here I am at 25 weeks, which means that we need to take another picture because I am currently 28 weeks along with our little guy. Still feeling good, just starting to feel pretty pregnant. Working out is getting more difficult (P90X is a butt kicker!) mainly because it is difficult to kick and squat and do push-ups with a belly sticking out in front of you. However, I am trucking along. When I was pregnant with Harper I was getting pretty antsy around this time, but I can't believe how FAST this pregnancy has gone by! 12 more weeks and we will have two kids...scary!

More From The Park

Even though it has been pretty cold here, we have still been finding "warm enough" days to get out of the house. Last Thursday I took Harper and Lucie (the little girl I babysit) to the park. We really didn't venture over to the actual playground (mainly because they are little and I am pregnant and carrying two girls up to the top of the slide over and over again really didn't seem that fun...for me). Instead we just walked around; we had a good time, and when the noses turned read and the hat would no longer be left on, we left. The picture above is Harper mesmerized by her shadow.

Harper very excited to climb up the stairs by herself.

February Fun at the Park

If any of you happened to visit our previous blog and are kind (or crazy or bored) enough to follow us on to this one, you may have wondered where it so suddenly disappeared.  We managed our last blog through a dotMac account that apparently Mac is pretty proud of, because it costs a decent amount for the account every year and this one is free.  So here we go starting over. This weekend marked the end of a 6 week rotation for me in Family Medicine.  Although I've had every weekend off during the rotation - a rare commodity in med school - the weekend after a final test always feels cause for some sort of celebration.  So, though it was a bit chilly out still, the 3 and a half of us decided to take an afternoon jaunt to our local Tower Grove Park.  It had been a while since we'd last tested Harper out on a playground, so Steph and I were eager to see if she warmed up to the swings and stuff yet.  In between cawing, waving and pointing and the other kids, she did seem to really enjoy the swings (we got some video) and her first time down the slides.  Though it was a quick little trip - I think we actually left more because of Steph being cold than Harper, despite her red nose - it was really good to get out together.  Hope you all are well, wherever you are reading this from.  More to come.
